Double opt-OUT? First time I have seen this
Although we ALWAYS recommend double-opt in for email subscribers, this is the first "double opt-out" request I have received.... Can you imagine the concept behind this: Lets just send our subscribers 1 more email after they opt-out, just to confirm.

Furthermore, I won't mention the best practice err of sending from an system email that cannot process replies, ESPECIALLY to your disgruntled subscribers, wait, are they un-subscribers, or maybe in the purgatory between un-subscribers and subscribers.

We've received a request asking us to stop sending email alerts for The ******** ******* News, Opinion, Features, Sports and Sustainable Life sections to your email address.

To confirm that you would like to stop receiving these alerts, reply to this email leaving the subject line unchanged.

If you would not like to continue receiving these alerts or have received this message in error, do not reply.

Thank you.
(This message was sent by an automated request response system.
Replies to this email other than confirmations cannot be processed.)
