Missing Coffee Mug
I am missing the coffee mug that was at my desk before I went on vacation last week.

It is white, and had a Dotties logo on it as shown.

If anybody runs into this in the next couple of days, can you give me a shout.

Whuffie? A new term for me, but it works.
So I was reading a post on Tara Hunt's blog today about "un-dissing competition," and came across a term that I was not familiar: Whuffie

Read the Wiki description of Whuffie to learn about it, as I run the risk of describing it as "Karma in Ones and Zeros."

Why did it catch my attention? We are moving into an era of online ID. Sellers on eBay and Amazon have had seller ratings, but browsers for the most part have been anonymous.

We are shifting from Myspace (which encourages users to have multiple personalities), to Facebook which "re-create's the social graph." (See Wired: Facebook web hot platform)

The web is not as anonymous as it once was, and having a website agnostic credibility system to support it seems to be an opportunity for someone.

Maybe now that we have OpenID2.0, services like Jyte can get some traction.
